Clear Record Locks

Sometimes with a network- / server-based system there can be occasions where the network drops signal, or a User's PC crashes, and this can be in the middle of a User editing information in Aerotrac. Depending upon circumstances, the User could end up "locking" a record, unknowingly stopping others from accessing that information.

In the event this does happen, Aerotrac will warn the next User who tries to access that record that it is locked and by which User I/D.

1  Navigate to - Administrator - Administrative Setup - Security - Users.
2 Highlight the User that is locking the Material Review. See above
3 Click on the 'Clear Record Locks' Button at the bottom of the screen. See above
